Raising children is difficult. In today's uncertain environment - in light of COVID, school closings, and social distancing requirements – it gets even harder. Fear, worry, anxiety and frustration are emotions felt by many to varying degrees. Some of those most affected include our children. Their fear and worry translates – often – to changes in behavior and demand a change in how parents engage.
The Hope for the Journey Conference is purposed to address this very need. Through the modular program, parents, teachers, and others professionals will be provided information, insight, and some practical takeaways regarding how to effectively and meaningfully engage with children in today's trying times. Because the format is modular - folks can come to one module or eight modules over the 2 days. Topics that will be addressed in the virtual presentations will include Introduction to Trust-Based Relational Intervention (TBRI), Connecting Principles, Correcting Principles, among others.
For professionals, this program can meet some of the Continuing Education requirements. Call for more details.
The programs starts on Friday, 21 May at 4 pm. We will be complete by 6 pm. On Saturday, the program starts at 8:30 am and will be completed by 4 pm.
